The Essence
Al-Qahhaar is the All-Conquering, the One who subdues all creation. Every force in the universe submits to His absolute authority. This name brings immense comfort, knowing that no oppressor or hardship can overpower Him.
In the Quran
وَهُوَ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ
"...And He is the One, the Prevailing (Al-Qahhaar). (Surah Ar-Ra'd 13:16)"
In Your Duas
يَا قَهَّارُ اقْهَرْ عَدُوِّي وَانْصُرْنِي
"O Qahhaar (Subduer), conquer my inner desires that lead to sin, and grant me victory over any hardship or oppression I face."
