The Essence
Al-Ghaffaar is the One who repeatedly and constantly forgives. No matter how many times a servant sins, if they turn back to Him with sincerity, Al-Ghaffaar veils their sins and completely forgives them.
In the Quran
وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِمَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَى
"But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver (Ghaffaar) of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance. (Surah Taha 20:82)"

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي وَجَهْلِي وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي
"O my Lord, forgive my sins, my ignorance, and my exceeding the bounds of righteousness in all my affairs."
