The Essence
As-Samee' is the One who hears perfectly and absolutely. He hears the loud spoken word, the silent whisper, and even the unuttered prayers hidden deep within the heart. No voice is confused with another.
In the Quran
إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ
"Indeed, Allah is the Hearing (As-Samee'), the Seeing. (Surah Ghafir 40:20)"
In Your Duas
سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ
"Allah hears those who praise Him. Our Lord, to You belongs all praise."
