The Essence
Al-Waarith is the Supreme Inheritor. We claim to "own" things in this world, but upon death, we leave it all behind. Ultimately, everything returns to Al-Waarith, who is the true owner of the universe.
In the Quran
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ
"And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor (Waarithun). (Surah Al-Hijr 15:23)"
In Your Duas
رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ
"My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while You are the best of inheritors (Waarithin)."
