The Essence
Al-Baaqi is the Everlasting, the One who remains forever. While everything in existence will eventually age, decay, and perish, Al-Baaqi is completely immune to time and will endure eternally.
In the Quran
وَيَبْقَى وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
"And there will remain (Yabqa) the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. (Surah Ar-Rahman 55:27)"
In Your Duas
يَا بَاقِي أَبْقِ ذِكْرِي بِالْخَيْرِ
"O Everlasting (Baaqi), let my legacy and memory endure in goodness long after I am gone."
