The Essence
Al-Mumeet is the Creator of death. He dictates the precise moment when every soul will depart this world. Knowing this frees a believer from the fear of creation, realizing that life and death are solely in His hands.
In the Quran
اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الْأَنْفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا
"Allah takes the souls at the time of their death. (Surah Az-Zumar 39:42)"
In Your Duas
اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
"O Allah, in Your Name, I die and I live."
