The Essence
Al-Muhyee is the Giver of Life. He breathes life into the physical body, and more importantly, He brings spiritual life to dead hearts through the light of revelation and guidance.
In the Quran
فَانْظُرْ إِلَى آثَارِ رَحْمَتِ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ يُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى
"So observe the effects of the mercy of Allah - how He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed, that [same one] will give life (Muhyee) to the dead. (Surah Ar-Rum 30:50)"
In Your Duas
يَا مُحْيِي الْقُلُوبِ أَحْيِ قَلْبِي بِنُورِ مَعْرِفَتِكَ
"O Giver of Life, revive my heart with the light of Your knowledge."
