The Essence
Ash-Shaheed is the Ultimate Witness. He is present in all places and times, observing all actions. Nothing is concealed from Him, and He will bear witness to everything humanity has done on the Day of Judgment.
In the Quran
وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
"And Allah is Witness (Shaheed) over all things. (Surah Al-Buruj 85:9)"
In Your Duas
يَا شَهِيدُ اشْهَدْ لِي بِالإِيمَانِ
"O Shaheed (Witness), bear witness for me of my true faith and sincerity."
