The Essence
An-Noor is the ultimate Light of the heavens and the earth. He illuminates the physical universe with light, and He illuminates the spiritual universe (the hearts of believers) with the light of guidance, faith, and the Quran.
In the Quran
اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
"Allah is the Light (An-Noor) of the heavens and the earth. (Surah An-Noor 24:35)"
In Your Duas
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا
"O Allah, place light within my heart."
