The Essence
Al-Mubdi is the Originator who initiated all creation without a prior model or precedent. He brought existence out of absolute nothingness simply by His command.
In the Quran
إِنَّهُ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
"Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] (Yubdi') and repeats. (Surah Al-Buruj 85:13)"
In Your Duas
يَا مُبْدِئُ أَبْدِئْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورَ الْيَقِينِ
"O Mubdi' (Originator), originate within my heart the pure light of certainty and faith."
