The Essence
Al-Maajid is the Noble and Magnificent. He is overflowing in generosity, honor, and grace. His noble nature means He gives abundantly without expecting anything, and He honors those who turn to Him.
In the Quran
رَحْمَتُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ ۚ إِنَّهُ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
"May the mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, people of the house. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy and Glorious (Majeed/Maajid). (Surah Hud 11:73)"
In Your Duas
يَا مَاجِدُ أَكْرِمْنِي بِطَاعَتِكَ
"O Maajid (Noble), honor me by allowing me to obey You."
