The Essence
Al-Lateef is the subtly kind. He is fully aware of the hidden, minute details of all affairs, and He brings about benefit to His servants in ways they cannot perceive. His mercy arrives gently and invisibly.
In the Quran
إِنَّ رَبِّي لَطِيفٌ لِمَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ
"Indeed, my Lord is Subtle (Lateef) in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise. (Surah Yusuf 12:100)"
In Your Duas
يَا لَطِيفُ الطُفْ بِي فِي تَيْسِيرِ كُلِّ عَسِيرٍ
"O Lateef (Subtle One), be gently kind to me by making every difficult matter easy for me."
