The Essence
Al-Hameed is the One who is inherently worthy of all praise, regardless of whether anyone actually praises Him. All perfection, grace, and blessings originate from Him, making Him the ultimate recipient of gratitude.
In the Quran
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَنْتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
"O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy (Al-Hameed). (Surah Fatir 35:15)"
